Tyler Thomas Tibbs is a founder, operator, and systems analyst with more than two decades of experience building projects across the North and Central America. Today, based in Nicaragua with his wife, Massiel, and their three children, Tiago, Max, and Zoey, Tyler’s work blends strategy, design, and execution with a sustainability first mindset. His approach is holistic by nature: he connects vision to systems, systems to people, and people to long-term impact.
Across many sectors, he is known for bringing clarity to complex environments, implementing vision, strengthening workflows, improving communication, and creating operating systems that scale. Today, he continues that work as an independent consultant with sports academies and mission based organizations, supporting projects that require responsible planning, disciplined implementation, and durable outcomes.
Tyler earned a degree in Environmental and Resource Economics from the University of New Hampshire, where he played Division I soccer as a four-year starter, and was named Most Inspirational Player. Futbol remains central to his life as both an avid player, dad and a coach, reinforcing a performance mindset grounded in development, accountability, and team culture.
A lifelong designer and artist, Tyler studied at the Oregon College of Art and Craft and the Instituto Allende in Mexico, training in silversmithing and ceramics. That creative foundation influences everything he builds, clean design, strong systems thinking, and communication that’s simple and human. He is also active in real estate investment and entrepreneurial development, always focused on creating sustainable value over the long term.
Tyler is also a permaculture enthusiast and a hands-on builder. Over the years, he has worked in design-build environments and supported individuals and organizations through planning, construction, and continuous improvement, bringing practical experience in how ideas become real places. That builder mindset shows up in all of his work: grounded, pragmatic, and oriented toward solutions that last.
Outside of work, Tyler has a deep personal passion for family, food, soccer, and the ocean. He loves cooking, staying connected to nature, the rhythm of the ocean, and sharing a life rooted in community, movement, and place. Whether he’s shaping strategy, building systems, designing solutions, or coaching on the field, Tyler brings the same goal to every project: turn vision into reality through clear structure, thoughtful design, and sustainable execution.
